Cookies and measurement
Short version: nothing that is not needed to run the site is loaded until you say so, and you can change your mind at any time from the link in the footer.
What is set, and when

Visit counts come from Ahrefs Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser; the privacy notice says what it records. The advertising row describes what that category would cover if it were ever switched on. It is not in use today, so accepting it currently changes nothing. If that changes, this page changes with it.
Your choice is stored in your browser, not in a cookie sent to us, and it holds the categories you allowed, the date you chose and a version number for the record itself.
Turning it off
Use cookie settings here or in the footer of any page. Rejecting is one click and no harder than accepting. Your browser's own settings will also block or clear anything set here.
The scan form
The free review form posts to our own server, not to a third-party form service. What it collects and how long we keep it is in the privacy notice. No measurement is needed for the form to work, so rejecting everything does not stop you using it.
If this page and the banner disagree
Tell us. A page that describes something other than what the site does is exactly the kind of finding this service exists to catch, and we would rather hear it about our own site than not.
